An end to science?

First they came for the allergy and sinus sufferers, with the restrictions on decongestants.

Now the government wants to end science experiments, in the form of chemistry kits, etc...

Says United Nuclear, supplier under attack:

The attempt to ban the wide variety of common chemicals listed (which have thousands of critical uses in every field of chemistry) suggests an ulterior motive.

These chemicals are also absolutely vital in the manufacture of our Hydrogen Fuel System Kits that have gained wide world attention - and been in development for years now. Eliminating the availability of these chemicals will end the possibility of us ever manufacturing our Hydrogen Fuel Systems.

ChardmanEncouraging a young person's thirst for scientific enquiry is an outdated concept. Not only is science now an orphaned concept, but chemistry sets date back to an era when there was an illusion of progress and a vision towards the future. People mustn't believe that there is a future, or a past, only a static present. And things are exactly the way we want them to be.
